For 25 years, Habitat for Humanity Vietnam has worked alongside families, communities, and partners to build strength, stability, and self‑reliance through housing. Yet millions still lack safe, healthy, and dignified homes — affecting their health, education, livelihoods, and opportunities to thrive.
As we celebrate our milestone anniversary, we’re opening the door to the next generation.
We invite students to join us in a national movement where youth voices can inspire action, spark empathy, and reimagine what safe housing means for Vietnam’s future.
About the Campaign “Let’s Open the Door…”
This creative challenge invites students across Vietnam to express:
- How can young people further the housing movement and inspire others to take action?
- What door should Vietnam open next to create healthier, safer, more inclusive homes for all?
Students will bring this theme to life through storytelling, visual art, design video, or prototypes.
This is not simply a contest — it is an invitation to shape the next 25 years of the housing movement.
Challenge Theme
“Further the movement and inspire action to support housing.”
Students explore this through four pathways:
- Open the Door to Health
How does safe housing protect families from illness, unsafe water, and environmental risks?
- Open the Door to Learning
How does stable shelter help children study, dream, and succeed?
- Open the Door to Livelihoods
How can improved housing create economic opportunity and family resilience?
- Open the Door to Inclusion (GEDSI)
How do we ensure homes are safe, accessible, and dignified for women, people with disabilities, and marginalized groups?
