Habitat Vietnam and TTI Vietnam builds climate change resilient house in Tien Giang

On May 27th, Habitat Vietnam and 28 Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd Vietnam (TTI) volunteers joined hands to help Ms. Chau and her son repair and raise their house floor in Binh Xuan commune, Go Cong district, Tien Giang province.

In recent years, unpredictable floods have been causing the family great inconvenience. Located near the river, Ms. Chau’s house floor can sometimes be 50 cm under flood water, which can lead to many sanitation issues and unpleasant diseases.

This activity is part of a project by Habitat Vietnam to enhance climate change resilience, funded by TTI. Through this build, the volunteers have contributed to improving the lives of the community and learned firsthand the housing solutions that Habitat Vietnam and TTI are jointly promoting.
